Meet the brains behind Skoolzy

Skoolzy began with one mom looking for better ways to help her child learn.

After her daughter was born prematurely at 26 weeks, Batsi left her career in Silicon Valley and began exploring ways to support her daughter’s early learning and development. Frustrated by what she found, she started creating her own learning materials at home.

Her daughter loved them. Soon, Batsi began sharing her ideas with other families, and their enthusiastic response inspired her to create more.

An engineer by training with a Ph.D. in science, Batsi combined her technical background with her experience as a parent to develop affordable, engaging educational toys and activities for young children. And Skoolzy was born.

Our Vision

We believe some of the best learning happens through play.

Skoolzy toys are designed to help little hands and growing minds explore, experiment, create, and discover at their own pace. Through hands-on play, children can build important early skills including fine motor control, hand-eye coordination, problem-solving, counting, color and letter recognition, and more.

We also believe great play doesn’t need flashing lights, repetitive sounds, or screens. Our toys encourage children to take the lead, use their imaginations, and discover new ways to play as their skills grow.

Many Skoolzy toys can be enjoyed in different ways as a child develops, helping extend the learning—and the fun—well beyond the first play session.

That’s what Skoolzy is all about: simple toys, meaningful play, and little discoveries that build big skills.
