"Yep, this is small but based on previous reviews I did not expect this to be big anyway, so that was good. It is child size which was perfect since we bought it for a 3-year old to give as a Christmas gift. One thing I can say for sure, this is a great toy to kindle the imagination. Imagine your usual Christmas scene with lots of toys around (and a lot of expensive toys too!) but our giftee picked this up, started putting joints to wheels together and went running around pretending it's a water-powered vehicle. He went up to us and says the water travel through the pipes which was a joy to hear! That to me is perfect, I chose it precisely for that possibility that it would capture his imagination. And it did."

Busy building --- LOVE THEM!
“I love these. I have a 2.5YO who had shown some interest in some of the STEM toys my mom kept at her house. I did some research and landed on these and a set of magna tiles. These win, hands down. The magna tiles were a bit advanced and he ended up mostly wanting to see me build things with them. My kiddo played with these pipes and joints for over an hour. He got frustrated a couple of times but when he would figure it out he'd go "you did it!". I love them. I keep them put away when they're not in use and bring them out as a special toy. As soon as he starts losing interest, we sing the clean up song and away they go. Not a million pieces to find around the house, either, which is a bonus. The magna tiles are being put away until Christmas when he's older.”

Love Skoolzy products and this one did not dissappoint
"Love Skoolzy products and this one did not disappoint. My son is only 17 mos but this toy has kept his attention 10x longer than the average toy (10 mins vs 1 min). The pieces are challenging enough for a toddler to require a bit of mastery which led to big satisfied smiles once he got the hang of it. He was able to build the pictured structure by himself. I helped him build a push toy complete with three wheels (not pictured bc we've already misplaced the wheels :)) and he ran around the house pushing it and laughing. I can see my son using this toy intermittently for at least another year or two to build more complex structures. All in all my favorite type of toy: educational, fun, rewarding, safe, captivating and will grow with my son."

Best toys for boys
"My son received this toy for Christmas when he was three and he loved it. It was one of the toys that he played with forever (before he got bored). He built all types of vehicles. One time he even built a lawn mower :) This toy helps to develop creativity and imagination for sure. I loved this toy so much that I bought a same one for our two year old friend as a gift. He loved it as well. So I would say 2-3-4 years is a great age for this toy. I highly recommend. We are going to another birthday soon, so I will probably buy this toy again as a gift :)"

“This is actually a 10-star product! Two-and-a-half-year-old twins absolutely love playing with these--they have built trains, vacuum cleaners, lawn mowers and many objects that can't be described. I look forward to seeing how their skills change as they play with this toy more. Note: the pieces don't seem to be a choking hazard, but they play with them only when an adult is sitting on the floor with them.”
